Since arriving in Vancouver in 2006, Alison has made a lovely little home for herself at Pacific Theatre. After growing up in Hamilton, Ontario and studying at Concordia University in Montreal, Alison was thrilled to have the opportunity to move across the country to pursue her theatre career in Vancouver. She takes great pride in knowing that she is putting her BFA in theatre, and Graduate Diploma in Arts Administration to good use as Pacific Theatre’s Office and Artist Manager.

Though you will mostly find Alison in the back office, every once in a while she will find the excuse to perform on the PT stage in Sideshow and the occasional Stones Throw Production. In addition to being an active board member of the Jessie Richardson Theatre Award Society, Alison also uses her spare time to enjoy some other artistic endeavors including singing in the VOC Sweet Soul Gospel Choir, being a resident improviser at Second Storey Theatre in Port Coquitlam, producing with her company Whirlwind Theatre Productions, learning to flamenco and belly dance, and writing about awesome things in her blog – Optimize Daily. http://alisoptimisms.blogspot.com/
