Andrea Loewen

After getting a BA in theatre and psychology from UBC, Andrea spent a year working some incredibly boring jobs. Then, one bright and shiny day, she came across Pacific Theatre's apprenticeship program! Wasting no time, she applied for the position and spent a wonderful year as an acting and writing apprentice at PT, where she produced and performed in several productions, including Nicky Silver's The Food Chain, the (in)famous Recession Party, and her own one-woman show Silk Threads.

All that hard work paid off, because Andrea is now happy to be working as the publicist at Pacific Theatre. She won't be spending all her time in the office though, as Andrea is still writing, acting, and dancing her way through life. She is the co-artistic producer of Xua Xua Productions and the part-time publicist for Michael Ford Photography. Clearly she has a very skewed view of time how much there is in a day, because she's always looking for a new project to add to her plate and can't wait until she turns 65 and gets to take any university class she wants to for free.
