BOOK OF THE DRAGON won the Chalmers Canadian Play Award in 1997, and TENT MEETING (a collaboration with Morris Ertman) was nominated for Toronto’s Dora Mavor Moore Award and Edmonton’s Sterling Award as Outstanding New Play. A BRIGHT PARTICULAR STAR premiered at Pacific Theatre in May 2006. Other works include REFUGE OF LIES, A BRIGHT PARTICULAR STAR, YOU STILL CAN’T, DREAMS OF KINGS & CARPENTERS and REMNANT.

Ron is currently at work on a book, Soul Food Movies: A Guide to films with a spiritual flavour.
