God Said This

About

Sisters Hiro and Sophie grew up together in Kentucky, but their lives have taken them down very different paths. When their mother Masako begins chemotherapy, Hiro returns to her family’s messy world as they dig through their past to find a picture they can all fit into. A sharp, funny, and compassionate look at what it means to face the Unknown together.

“A stunning, painfully complicated, funny, and compassionately rendered story of an American family.”

Here's what they say about the show

Kristin

A tremendous production with wonderfully compelling characters and a familiar yet unique family story. Many tears were shed onstage and in the audience! Also, the artistic team made excellent use of the challenging space.

BETTY SPACKMAN

An engaging, well-acted play that dealt in a very real ways with some of the difficult dynamics of family and faith. My compliments to all involved in this production.
