public health update | season closure

March 25, 2020

To our Pacific Theatre audience and family –

Our final main stage production of the season, Horton Foote’s The Trip To Bountiful, has also been cancelled due to the ongoing health crisis. Box office staff will be calling patrons who hold Bountiful tickets this week to resolve those purchases.

For those of you hearing from us for the second or third time about a show you were excited to see, know that we are just as heartsick to make the call as you are to receive it. If you have questions, our staff are answering e-mails at tickets@pacifictheatre.org. We thank you for your patience as we are currently operating reduced box office hours.

What About Next Year?

The Pacific Theatre staff are working from home, learning to teleconference – brave new world, that has such videos in it – and building our 2020-21 season. Like many of the arts organizations in town, it may look different than it did in our January plans, but it is very much in motion and we are excited to share it with you. Watch this space for updates and for hope.

How Can I Help?

Though our season has been cut short, Pacific Theatre will continue to create art – it’s what we do, and we think it’s something the world is in particular need of right now. As a not-for-profit arts organization, our community and our donors are both our reason to create and our sustaining source.

In this time of need, if the work Pacific Theatre does has meant something to you and are able, please consider donating. It would mean the world.
