First, thank you. Your support has kept Pacific Theatre alive and thriving all these years—and we don’t take that lightly. Now, as we face a major transition, we’re asking you to walk with us once again.
You’ve likely heard: we’re leaving our beloved venue and taking a short programming pause to reimagine the future of Pacific Theatre. This moment of change is also one of opportunity. We’re calling this year’s campaign New Routes – a play on our previous New Roots campaigns – both because we love a good pun, and also as an acknowledgement of the new directions we are taking.
Our goal? To raise $100,000 by the end of summer to fund the operation and production costs of our 2025 season. We’re also looking for new monthly donors to stabilize ongoing expenses.
Ticket sales alone have never covered our full costs, and our shared venue and limited seating has restricted our revenue. Even with government support, we have had to work hard to operate on a well-managed but tight budget, with mostly part time staff.
But it’s been you—our donors—who’ve made it possible to keep telling stories that are “brave,” “authentic,” “inspiring,” and “deeply human” (your words!). Your generosity made world premieres like Son of a Preacherman and Meeting possible this past season.
Your continued support will shape what comes next. We’re not done. We’re just taking a new path.
Donate now, let’s find our New Routes—together.
