  • Kim’s Convenience (Ins Choi) sells out its run | 6 Jessie Nominations 
  • Picked up by the Arts Club and tours across Western Canada

  • Outside Mullingar (John Patrick Shanley) wins the Jessie Richardson Theatre Award for Outstanding Production, Large Theatre Category

2014/15

  • The Seafarer (Conor McPherson) wins the Jessie Richardson award for Outstanding Production, Large Theatre Category

2012

  • BC Gaming Commission funding begins
  • Pacific Theatre joins Arts Club and Bard On The Beach in bid to develop Cultural Amenities Space, Olympic Village

2010/11

  • Season nominated for 21 Jessie Richardson Awards wins Significant Artistic Achievement Award: Curation & Execution of an Outstanding Season of Theatre

  • Canada Council annual operating funding begins

2006/07

  • Canadian Premiere of Grace (Craig Wright) wins the Jessie Richardson award for Outstanding Production, small theatre category

2005/06

  • World Premiere of Prodigal Son | co-production with Touchstone Theatre
  • Season nominated for 22 Jessie Richardson Awards

2004

  • BC Arts Council annual operating funding begins

2003/04

  • The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe draws 22,000 to offsite production at Norman Rothstein Theatre

2002/03

  • World Premiere of Espresso | 7 Jessie Richardson nominations

1997/98

  • City Of Vancouver annual operating funding begins

1994/95

  • Pacific Theatre opens new 120-seat theatre at Chalmers Heritage Building
  • Admitted to Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance
  • First season of eligibility for Jessie Richardson Awards | 7 nominations

1989/90

  • First subscription season, Richmond Gateway Studio Theatre

1987 

  • The Dragons Project begins five-year tour of a repertoire of plays on chemical dependency to schools and community venues throughout British Columbia

1985

  • First mainstage production: Fish Tales Chinook Theatre, Edmonton | Presentation House, Vancouver

1984

  • Pacific Theatre founded by four actors who believed their faith worthy of artistic representation
  • First touring production: First Christmas
