Here's what they say about the show

Kathy

I was mesmerized by the poetry, the storytelling, the interweaving of folklore, and personal experience. I was moved by the beauty of the imagery on the stage, by Shayna's performance and the music that supported her. I leaned in and felt connected. At times it seemed like I was in a dream world. Thank you for bringing this beautiful work to the stage.

I really wanted to like this performance piece, but in the end it fell flat as I searched for its true intention and message. I did enjoy the physical performance. The choreography and its delivery was inspired as was the music during the performance. A muddled message partnered with amateur voice overs pulled down on what could have been more focused and comprehensible. My husband and I agree with another reviewer, we struggled to try and hear the interviews, and really questioned if anyone had tested their sounds and value prior to the performance. . I think this was a good effort and look forward to watching this woman as she grows and develops her material.
