Julia started improvising as a university student in 2007 and never looked back. She became obsessed with bringing others joy and the collaborative magic of the art form, not just with her fellow comedians on stage, but the audience. You can also catch her improvising regularly as a mainstage ensemble member at the Improv Center on Granville Island or on social media for her company Nettle's Tale (@nettlestale). Her small business manufactures women's clothing and swimwear 'mostly' in Canada and in sizes XS to 4X. When she is not improvising or being entrepreneurial she is trying to keep up with her toddler and not finish an entire pint of ice cream.
