Privacy Policy

Integrity is of great value at Pacific Theatre. We strive to serve our community with artistic, spiritual, relational, and financial integrity. We want to be respectful of our patron’s personal information; for this reason, we have created a privacy policy to outline the steps we are taking and continue to take to protect our patrons’ privacy.

We collect information from patrons, subscribers, volunteers, seasonal staff, donors, and sponsors.

We keep information on file in order to efficiently process requests for subscriptions, donations, and other transactions, to inform our community about upcoming events being done at our theatre or by artists closely related to our theatre, to provide donors and sponsors with appropriate receipts and records, to inform ourselves about how to serve patrons better with a recorded donation and purchase history, and to seek support, both material and otherwise.

Usually our patron files will include a name, a phone number and mailing address, an email address, payment information, and personal information (such as related preferences or health issues) that allow us to provide our patrons with the best service possible.

All personal information that we collect is stored in our secure electronic database or in our office where we use appropriate security measures to ensure that all personal information is safe. Only staff members can access information in our office and a password (only issued to staff members and Information Technology volunteers) is required to access all information in our database.

We collect information only with an individual’s consent at the time of transaction. Sometimes we will assume consent is implied, such as when a patron is buying tickets, donating, volunteering, subscribing, or sponsoring. If you desire to have your information only used for certain purposes, please let us know. We dispose of information when we no longer need it or, depending on circumstances, upon your request.

We collect information mostly by phone but sometimes by mail or through information that patrons send to us (such as subscription forms). In order to keep the information current and accurate we ask that patrons inform us if any information that we have for them is out of date or erroneous. We destroy personal information by shredding hard copies and deleting electronic files in a secure manner.

We desire that our patrons, donors, volunteers, subscribers and sponsors feel safe in disclosing their personal information to us. So, we ask that if you feel that your privacy may have been breached or if you have any questions about this privacy statement that you not hesitate in contacting our privacy officer, Alison Chisholm at info@pacifictheatre.com.
