We’re thrilled to share that we’ve found PT’s new home for the 2026-27 season. We’ll be renting the Revue Stage on Granville Island: a 200-seat soul-filled venue centrally located right next to the Public Market. Granville Island sits on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. We recognize with respect the long history of this place, and are grateful to be part of such a vibrant, creative hub.
There will be friends! There will be music! There will be a live performance by Kim’s Convenience creator and PT pal Ins Choi, plus stand-up from Juno Award-winning comedian Ivan Decker. Come celebrate PT’s story, help us raise some funds, and warm up our new home!
Please note, seating at this venue will be by General Admission, not assigned seats. So come by early and choose your favourite seat! Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the show starts at 7:30 pm!

Vancouver’s own Award-winning comedian Ivan Decker is a comedy powerhouse, recognized as one of the best in the country. His sharp wit and impeccable timing have graced major media outlets like CBC, CTV, TBS, and more. You've seen him on hit shows such as The Debaters, Just for Laughs, and CONAN, not to mention his half-hour special on NETFLIX.
In 2017, Ivan was named a "Comic to Watch" at the New York Comedy Festival. In 2018, he made history as the first Canadian in 34 years to win a JUNO award for Comedy Album of the Year. He was nominated for a second JUNO award in 2025. From headlining comedy festivals across North America and Europe to joining prestigious tours like the Just for Laughs Road Show, Ivan has also featured prominently in high-profile comedy series like Rick Mercer's Comedy Night in Canada and Comedy Central's Stand-Up Showcase.
Chortle Magazine in the UK hails his clean, sharp comedy as "smart, original, and slick." His sophomore comedy special "Popcorn," released on YouTube in early 2024, has garnered widespread acclaim, further cementing his status as a comedic tour de force.

Born in South Korea and raised in Toronto, Choi grew up as the only son of a Korean church pastor, an experience that profoundly shaped his storytelling. He studied theatre at York University and found his artistic voice in Toronto’s Asian Canadian theatre scene, where he first developed Kim’s Convenience. Over the years, he has created and performed a variety of works, including The Subway Stations of the Cross and The KJV: The Bible Show, each weaving together his faith, creativity, and lived experience.
In Son of a Preacherman, Choi takes audiences on an intimate and engaging journey through music, spoken word, and storytelling, reflecting on Bible stories, his creative process, and what it was like growing up in a Korean church. Filled with warmth, wit, and moments of deep reflection, this one-of-a-kind performance is sure to resonate long after the curtain falls.
